    Great site. However, I was hoping you might be able to help me. I have seen (but unfortunately do not remember who the manufacturer was) a gas insert which used fake coal instead of logs for the effect. Can you tell me who manufactures this type of insert or where I can get information about this type of product. Thank you.



    Answer:

    RH Peterson makes this type of gas logs. Also, Valor makes a fireplace insert that has fake "coal" logs, but burns gas
