When we're warm and toasty with the wood stove going, it's nice to sit back in the chair and have a drink! I am sure everyone has their personal favorites, and here is my Irish Coffee recipe: Best made in a clear glass coffee cup for visual effect. 1 tbs light brown sugar 1 oz Irish whiskey Coffee Heavy Whipping Cream First place brown sugar in warmed coffee cup. Add Whiskey and coffee. Stir until all sugar is dissolved. Pour cream over spoon to make a 1/2 cm thick layer of white cream on top of black coffee. Enjoy Note: If the cream won't float when pouring over a spoon adjust by adding more sugar to the next one. The dissolved sugar adds density to support the cream.
