in putting the lower limit switch back in and hooking up the wires, I must have put too much pressure on it and the switch pulled out of the metal housing and the disc itself came off because the plastic housing broke. It was the last thing to do before putting insert back into position and firing it up....
Can I as a temporary fix until I get a new one (Mon/Tues) can i jump those two wires together or using electrical tape connect the two as a temporary fix?? If I did this I would have to unplug the stove when not in use.right??

And today is the last day of Fire Prevention Week. Personally I would just not risk the problems and find another safe way to heat till its fixed. Good luck
