Fire brick in Kent

I know that the Kent Tile Fire has been designed to be used without fire brick, it is mentioned in the users manual. However, what do you experts think? Will it benefit me if I line bricks in the stove, besides the fact it will reduce the volume of the stove?

I you do this I would consider using pumice bricks for their higher insulation value. They have worked well in our stove for the past 7 yrs. Have you read this thread?
