Half oak, half black birch and locust. Will tidy up and top cover in a few weeks. Hope to have 16/17 done before the leaves are back on the trees.

Good for you. I just got my last 5 truck loads for 215-16. Mix of apple, pear, maple and not sure of the 4th species. will try and upload pic from phone tomorrow.

I like your plan Coal Reaper.

Looks great .! Hopefully i'll have a pic up by Saturday of my all oak stack .almost there .:)

Nice mix of wood. How many cords per year are you preparing for?

Hopefully not much more than five cords for the heating season and another cord for DHW during summer that i will use up lower btu wood on (more than a few of tulip poplar on my property). This year i have six cord put away that mostly ash and maple. For next season i have five cord oak and locust and some birch birch and cherry. Following season is four i just finished. May need to add some to that but i will see where i am at this spring and adjust accordingly.
