I have seen alot of angst over Harman lately on the forum. The real question is the long term service and parts for their stoves, especially since they have been bought out. Thoughts?

    Regards..

I see potential problems.....if either they cut off dealers (rumor mill) or dealers drop the line....or if dealers go out of business because they cannot get enough product. We have heard for years that many Harman dealers refuse to touch stoves that they did not sell themselves, and the factory has been no help in these cases.

As with most pellet stoves, it pays for the buyer or user to be a handy person who can follow instructions and repair/service themselves if at all possible. Also, in areas where Harman is popular, you might end up with third party service techs....then again, they have to have access to parts and factory bulletins, etc.

It will be more years before we know how all this stuff works out.
