Got the rest of the damper out, gonna pick up my liner next week.
Just above the damper area for maybe 6' the narrowest is 8-9" one way, any problem getting the insulated liner through that?

It will be a little snug but should pull down through there ok if it is a relatively straight shot.

Picked up my liner and stuff to go with it today. Steves a really nice guy! sleepyhollowchimneysupply.com if you longisland guys want a sweet deal check him out!
Looks like nice heavy 304L flex liner.
Cant wait to get this all done!

Good news. Did anyone tell him Sleepy Hollow is in Westchester?

Ha not sure, he answers the phone steve sleepy! Not sure if thats his last name, i guess sleepychimneysupply wouldnt have sounded too productive

Ha ha. Maybe dopey and grumpy work there too. I suppose if he answered with the rest it would sound hollow.

When i installed my buddys hampton he picked up safe and sound roxul, i didnt notice it. He gave me the rest of it, think its ok to use it for the block off plate and top of chimney? His really seems to have no cold drafts and performs great.

18g 409 ss blockoff plate, 20 bucks!
Just gotta repair the brick up top and get this thing installed

Excellent. With the tile liner removal and stainless liner install you've saved yourself a fair chunk of change.

Im really excited to put the insert in now!
I owe it all to you guys and this site!

Im gonna stop by the chimney shop and see what angled stove top connector i can get. I can almost get the liner straight but i think a small angle will be easier. Is there a common angled connector that works well?

I dont think the liner fits in the stove top with out a collar

I can almost get it straight ontop, ill get a better idea when i pick the stove up tomorrow from storage at inlaws

My fp floor is about an inch lower then the brick out front, i can just build it up with durarock right?

Maybe some are idk! I just want it to slide in nice and easy, if i remember correctly from installing my friends i will need it all the same hight.

Awesome job. Gonna be a happy guy when it's all done! Now let's talk wood...:)
