I know, I know, it's still August, and I'm not going to start a fire in the IR, but it's so nice to think about it! I figure in three or four weeks I might be doing some trial runs for the season. Nice to be looking forward to it, at any rate.

We were into the 40s a couple times in the last week. Nice to see your breathe in the morning. Summer has gone by too fast.

suppose to be near record lows here in michigan tonight. What a short summer, if we can even call it that

Burn it you wuss! Good time for a break in fire or to just get rid of the anticipation.

I could easily live with the seventies until oh say February. Won't happen but I can dream. Still in the 90s day, mid to high seventies night here.

27 here at my house this morning. Three days straight of having to scrape the frost from the truck windshield before heading to work.

They're saying 47* here tonight. Summer (summer??) is fast coming to an end. Can't say I'm looking forward to winter but on the other hand I am looking forward to a fire in the Alderlea.

Wow!! really? I wont complain then, it's one thing to scrape your windshield but 27 is getting cold. So do you really have a summer at all there or just a very short warm spell? Just curious. Keep warm
