My stove was delivered and I installed it last Saturday. I feel like a kid at Christmas. Works great. "where's the cold weather?". I'm chompin at the bit to use my stove. Anyway, 2 questions. If I light my stove in the morning to take the chill off and it runs for an hour or two and then I shut it off. Should I scrape the ash out of the burn pot before I re-light the stove? Its not a big deal, but is that overkill. So I would appreciate any tips on the frequency of burn pot cleaning. Second, feed rate. THe book recommends 4 (1-6 range) as a starting point. 4 Seems to work fine. This morning I tried 5. Bigger flame I think, but what is right? I want the stove to burn efficiently, but don't want to waste pellets. So again, any tips on setting feed rate are also appreciated.
"BRING ON THE COLD" I'm ready
