Hopefully Coaly has one. I may but getting the time to look through so many boxes could be a while. I used to have so much stuff like that and I threw it out. But I kept some of everything, finding it may be the issue. :)

Is that baffle shiny? If so, I'd bet someone replaced it. No big deal. If it works great, if you find it warps it will be easy enough for you to replace.

Glad to hear it is working well.

Hell that's firing on 2 cylinders out of 8! Put some wood in that thing ;-P I always did better loading front to back (north/south) compared to east west.

My old grandma could certainly throw the heat.

Hope you are happy with the old girl.

I agree with add the wood :) When the last piece I could get in was in I would drive the next one in with another piece of wood. But if I damaged something I could take it back and fix it lol I never had to tho.

Grandma III if it has 5 bricks across the back. Should have 25 1/2" wide top plate. Grandpa III if it has 6 bricks across the back. Should have 30 inch wide top plate.
It's not a IV. Notice how your glass is level across the top? Here's the angled glass at the top of a IV. Much more glass on the IV with wider / larger glass.
A freestanding Honey Bear has the same style doors as yours, but that's about it. They are much smaller, having only a 18 3/4 inch box. They use a different air intake as well.

My baffle plate in the well used Goldilocks looks like a new piece of steel too. Never formed any deposits on it, or warped either.

Email bearstoves@verizon.net for a manual in pdf format that you can print.

The handle is welded to the slide. You should have 3 screws holding the cover on. If you can take it off I have the slides complete and welded already or I have handles and spring handles if you want to weld it back together. I say weld it is just a tack.
