HI, first I'd like to say great forum and I'm glad I found it.. I just made the switch form wood to pellets and with the great info here I decided on the 52i insert for the living room and a p68 in the basement. with all I've read and heard I should try to maintain about an inch or so ash lip, but even with the feed rate cranked up to 6 I still cant get the ash or pellets more than an inch or so out of the burn pot. With the stove in idle most of the fire is at the auger and burning the pellets up to the second screw in the auger. I'm burning new England premium pellets and running both stoves in room temp/manual. Is this a normal was these burn or is it the low ash count in the pellets , or maybe the warm temps now aren't putting the load on the run times keeping the fire low in the burn pot,,??,, Thanks for any input and such a great site
