Hearth & Home is offering several rebates as of Feb 1st. If I had waited 7 more business days to buy my stove, I would have received a $400 rebate.
I've called both the dealer and Hearth & Home and nobody is willing to do anything.

I know that they have to draw a line, but 7 days ? I could understand if it were a month later. Buy I'm pissed. Any thoughts on what I might be able to do to get the rebate ?

Call the dealer and say you want to return it.

Then order another one.

Maybe ask the dealer nicely? I know the deal from Harman was half dealer/half harman, so, out of that $400, $200 came from the dealer, $200 came from Harman. I also know that harman WILL NOT credit the dealer their portion of the $400 if it was before Feb 1st, or after March 31st (and THATS a definite, non-negotiable). I dunno.....can the dealer credit back the original slip and recharge it now? I'd say its up to him. It isnt the dealers fault you bought it when you did though. I do agree on the "draw the line" thing though. Has to start somewhere, and end somewhere. If they give you 7 days, why not the other guy who had 8 days, or 9, or 10? Where does it stop?
