Heating rooms with doors closed

Closed door and heating it with the heat from the woodstove? A real challenge.

In my own case, due to the layout of my house the master bedroom can sometimes get a bit on the cool side . . . even if I don't shut the door all the way (my wife sometimes shuts it part way if she is up at night (third shifter) and I am sleeping).

Our solution has been a really nice quilt, extra blanket and when it gets wicked cold the electric blanket is turned on . . . although it's rarely turned on in my case.
