HELP, martin fireplace info

did martin use there own piping or did they use a generic style? like sk8 or something like this.

i removed the chase top to replace it with a stainless one and found that the pipes did not go to the top, imagine that.

charred wood ,creosote all on the bottom of the chase cover, etc.
 
Unfrigginbelievable! How long had it been burning like that?
 
Most of the Martin fireplaces used their own pipe .The smaller units used a S8 pipe. It is 8" on the inner pipe and maybe 11" on the outside . It had tabs on the female end. When MHSC bought Majestic they switched over to the SK8 pipe, Similar size but the tabs are on the male ends.
