Hey everybody! First time poster, just trying to troubleshoot a gas stove that doesn't like to respond to the thermostat unless I jiggle the wires that attach to this black box (pictured) I gather that this device some how causes the main gas valve to open when the thermostat sends the signal - but I can't for the life of me figure out what this is or how to find troubleshooting advice/replacement parts for it.

Picture of the stove and nameplate also attached for reference.

The rating plate is confusing. It labels the unit as gravity and
fan-type Direct Vent. Gravity type is B-Vent & is different from DV.
I'm thinking since that component is rated for VAC, it's a Low Limit
switch for the blower.

Not super familiar with this stove, but that looks like some kind of snap switch that is actuated by the rod on the left. Does that part move and what is it connected to?
