It's 47 here right now, low 60's in the house, fire has been started... low of 22 tonight.

Doesn't matter what the outdoor temperature is. When it get chilly in the house, light a fire.

With the 5.6" of rain followed by cool temperatures, we had our first fire a couple days ago. btw, for the outdoor temperature, our daytime high was 50. It felt cool and damp so we started the stove.

The fire was started late in the afternoon. I put 3 small splits in at 9:00 pm. The stove was still warm the next afternoon at 3:00 pm but did cool after that.
