Someones selling a pile of seasoned wood close by for $125. I thinking about buying it. This is my first season burning and I already have about 6 cords stacked. I don't know how much i need but this looks to be a decent amount for the money.

    1 1/2 - 2 cords . . . around here that would be a fair deal

The smaller stuff also looks dry enough to burn in my gassification boiler, this year.

Do you know when it was cut? Since it all appears to be unsplit, it may not be fully seasoned (dry).

That looks to have been sitting for more than a couple years, but you may be surprised by the MC once it's split.
1.5 cord or so. Not a bad price if not too far away.
Once you get that, go get some more for next year.

Reasonable price. The bottom stuff on the ground may be punky, be nice to leave it behind if it is ;)

With the pile of bigger rounds. 2.164872 cords. And yes, that looks like a good deal.

You will like those elm rounds, the splits come with kindling attached :). Some good wood for next year. Good score!
