How much wood do you think this is?

Someones selling a pile of seasoned wood close by for $125. I thinking about buying it. This is my first season burning and I already have about 6 cords stacked. I don't know how much i need but this looks to be a decent amount for the money.

1.5 cord maybe. what kind of wood?

Im not sure but it also comes with this. I have a splitter so not a big deal

1 1/2 - 2 cords . . . around here that would be a fair deal

Just called the guy. Said its pecan and elm. Im going to go get it tomorrow.

The smaller stuff also looks dry enough to burn in my gassification boiler, this year.

Do you know when it was cut? Since it all appears to be unsplit, it may not be fully seasoned (dry).

I've heard pecan is good to smoke meat with!!

That looks to have been sitting for more than a couple years, but you may be surprised by the MC once it's split.
1.5 cord or so. Not a bad price if not too far away.
Once you get that, go get some more for next year.
