I currently have indirect feed from oil boiler am going to replace the boiler with a garn jr arriving later this week my question is can I plumb hphw heater in place of indirect in order to not have to fire boiler during non heating season and during heating season the how's would just act as a indirect just didn't know if this was possible I have low electric rates 8 cents per kWh and would like to save on wood consumption

Yes. It is going to save a lot on wood during the non-heating season. At 8 cents a kWh, it is an outstanding deal.
