Greetings!

Does anyone make an insert with an ash cleanout drawer anymore? I have an old Ashley and there is a door below the firebox that I can open and remove an ash pan. I can do this any time, generally every day or two. I've been online today and don't see an ash cleanout door on any of them. I also looked at a few manuals and they talked about cleaning the ash out of the firebox. Does that seem right? Seems like a case of going backwards instead of foward if I give up the ash cleanout compartment. What does everyone else think?
