Hello, if this has been answered sorry but could not find it. Is the 30% tax credit in the from of a credit or rebate check? Guess what I would like to know is if you don't have to pay Taxes ie Social Security would you get the credit in the form of a check back from the IRS? Thanks for the help!!!

Thank-You that's just what I was thinking. Have a great one.

One thing you can do is if you have money in a 401K that is going to get you smacked with a 15% tax bill when you withdraw some of it, then you can withdraw the amount that you spent on the energy tax credit eligible purchase and come out with a net 15% savings.
