Wow that's a lot of damage. That Yellow Birch is good wood (or is the color off and it is a white?).

More damage than we wanted. I think it's Yellow Birch but I'm not positive.

Just what you needed. At least you won't get lazy. ;lol Looks like a good variety...

Wood looks like it will be wet & heavy.

Wow........
I took a walk on our property the house is on, have some good maple branches down, I also took a look up the back hill, it looks like we have some downed trees there too. I'll get a better look at what type of trees are down when I go up top this weekend.

Zap, that birch is no doubt the one we talked about the other night and as we suspected, it looks like yellow birch. You will like it.

When I talked with Sav over the phone about the Birch, that is what he said too. I might mill up the part still standing.

That will keep you busy Zap. I'm sure we can expect some pics in the future of those nice neat stacks your known for. ;)

On my walk through of our property around the house I found a chit load of widowmakers, I'll have to mark the areas with paint on the trees so we can tell the danger areas before we get there.

Here are a couple of branches off some old maples that are on the property our house is on.
