should get us started on the year. BT Pellet in Bristol, CT, 1 ton of Maine softwoods and 1 ton of regular Maine woods.

No idea what a "real" winter will bring and we use wood which is mostly scrounged free as well, so we're starting small this winter and will pick up more by the ton or by the carload as we move along.
 
How much did they cost? Delivery charge (or did you pick them up)?

Total was $599, credit card (cash is $20 cheaper) including delivery. We are about 35 miles away I think.
