Double sided woodburning fireplace. I know it all goes up the chimney but how about putting a 30" square plate in the middle will that get warm enough to creat heat. Or putting a iron suround on both openings
Might that creat heat
 
You might want to post this question in the Hearth Room section. Pellet stoves are a whole different animal than a fireplace.
