    My 1st fire was Sept 17. Earliest ever .
    I think that date might get beat this year. This August we've had some really chilly nights.

    I see on 9/15 we had 36 degrees but no fire in the stove, or at least I don't think we did. Had a couple in September I think but don't remember when.

    It was the second week of October. And it got so damm hot I had every window in the upstairs open by 3:00 am that night!

    Don't remember the exact date, but I may have put it in a post last year.
    We usually start the last week of Sept., so we've got a month or so yet to go this year. Maybe longer.
