Liner crack advice?

Hey all. Looks like we've developed a crack in our liner. This is on the exterior wall of the fireplace, about a foot above the flue.

Assuming this means liner replacement? Or can this be patched?

(The horizontal scratch marks were just me running a screwdriver across to feel the crack).
