Well, I'm working through my "demolition" problems, and have a question. I'm getting ready to order the chimney liner, and see that most of the "stove" liners, as opposed to "insert" liners, include a T for ease of cleaning. There is no way I'm going to have room for a T in my installation (stove set into a fireplace). Is there any problem with connecting the liner directly to my stove, and then simply disconnecting when I clean it? I would be connecting the stainless liner directly to the stove. Thanks guys...

You don't need the T, you may connect the liner direct to the stove collar. And no need to disconnect to clean, remove move baffle board and necessary tubes if needed, brush from top down with door closed. Ash/soot will fall to stove floor, vacuum out. Reinstall removed baffle board & tubes if removed, done.
