    Well did you get that BK stove yet?

    If you haven't gone to see it, check the top side of the firebox for warping at the bypass opening, as they are known to warp. Also check the cat, but at the price you are looking at, you can put a new cat in and still be good if everything else is good.

    Whether it will heat your house from the basement is a whole other issue. If you have good air flow, and the house is insulated well, it should. If you have trouble with getting the warm air upstairs, then you'll wish the stove was upstairs.
