The ledge on the Lopi Answer II insert is narrow so probably can't fit a normal steamer/kettle. What do people with this insert normally use? I was hoping to avoid using a humidifier so I figured I would check what other people use first before going that route. I've tried researching on google searching here but have come up empty so far. Thanks for any help.

I have a free standing wood stove not insert. I use both a humidifier and a steamer. The humidifier would be running even when the stove is not. If you have low humidity I do not think a steamer would provide enough moisture to raise your humidity.

Thank you. Yeah I kinda had a feeling I would need more than a steamer, plus with the narrow ledge it just doesn't seem safe to have one.
