We just lost power for the first time since having the stove. I never got around to getting a battery backup. I doo have the stove on a surge protector. I was wondering how much damage,if any, could I have done to my stove. I read allot on here about the stove needing to cool down slowly whcich is the reason for the back up. I did plan on getting one soon but life got I'm the way.

I got a Cyberpower pure sine ups on Amazon for just over $100. I ordered it the day we had a brief power outage. A little smoke in the house and no damage to the stove but I'm not taking chances again. RT
