I have a newly installed rebuilt Quadrafire 1200i, insert. I have another pellet stove but little experience with burning pellets.
The insert seems to always be blowing up lots of sparks which drop as ash, lots of it. The other stove does not seem to do this. The blower also seems to blow a few unburned pellets out of the firepot. Is it supposed to be throwing out lots of sparks or is it maladjusted? Blended hard/soft pellets.
