Looking for a LP stove for my basement that would function in the event of power loss. Are there such stoves ? Looking to replace old dutchwest in basement vented into masonry chimney.

There are MANY that meet that requirement. Go to your local hearth shop & see what they offer.
If you find one you like, let us know what make & model it is, & we can tell you what we think of it.
You will also need to see if your existing venting van be utilized/modified for the gas unit.
