Making a sheetmetal mantel shield

Do you have this image in the gallery or pics thread or anything? It would be so great if there was a picture thread of all mantel shields and etc, every time I go looking for them they are in so many different places! Yours was one I was sure I had seen and could not find it again till you posted it again! Looks nice, by the way.

I had been kinda wondering if I could get one and invert it into one at a 45 degree angle because I will need a shield on my lowest portion of mantel trim. I can probably do it at either the top of my insert surround or below the trim I guess depending on how the surround works. But the Original Poster here seems to be more capable of fabricating his own than I am!
