I found 3/8 sheets local. I would like 1/2" Kamco

I found some 1/2" at a stove shop but they wanted $50 each for 20" x 66" I would need two.

Found 3/8 4x10 for $28 a sheet
5/8 4x10 for $38 a sheet.
Building Specialties
White Marsh, MD... almost in Baltimore.

2 sheets of 3/8" sounds like the way to go.

For compression that may be the better way to go than one thickness.
