What's the best way to monitor stack temps when venting out the back? I'm 7" off the wall and only have about 4" of single wall between the flue collar and class a.

Should I just put a magnetic thermo on the 4" single wall?

I don't think you will get a very accurate reading being so close to the stove collar, most mag therms are calibrated to at least 12" up on a vertical run. You could still use it as a guide but I bet it will read a little high and pretty colse to stove top temps.
