I feel the oiler is not oiling enough, is there a way to make it oil more or better?
If everything is ideed working correctly, no. Many newer saws do not oil nearly as much as older models. Check your pickup screen, line, bar oil holes under the clutch cover and on the bar, make sure the bar groove is clean. So long as you can sling enough oil to leave a line on concrete or a stump, you're ok as far as Stihl is concerned.

If your cutting in the extreme cold,,,the oil tends to get a bit thick....thin it out with some canola oil....

Does the oil thin as the saw warms up?
