does an 1100 need an appliance adaptor from the out port to Durablack 6" single wall pipe....it doesnt seem to fit ??

They do have a stove pipe adpt. it is a #69040 .This is what it says,The stove pipe adpt. mates dura-black to most stoves. It allows for about 1/8" difference in the size in the flue collar.

I don't know about Durablack in particular, but Heat-Fab single-wall pipe goes right in with no adapter. I assume you have the crimped (male) end of the pipe facing down into the stove collar?
