I bought the stone in large irregular shapes and cut 3 sides, leaving the rough edge for the front. Then cut the rough edges off of all the scrap and used thin set to glue that to the front and sides. It looks like a little dry-stacked wall - the camera flash sort of ruins the detail and color there. All that's left is to patch the vertical hole in the brick where a partition wall used to be. I have a nice piece of Mahogany for that. If anyone is interested in a similar project, the stone was just under $90 for about 800lbs. and it cuts easily on a wet saw made for tile.
