I have a raised hearth made of faux stone, and hardwood floors. Do I need a fire screen in addition to the one built into the fireplace? (it does not have doors) Thanks

Nope. I WAS gonna say, "not if it's built to code," but there isn't anything code wise that a screen would fix. Are you talking about one of those triple folding screens that sit out on the hearth? If you feel better with that barrier then it can't hurt, but you don't need it AFAIK.

I have always used a free standing fireplace screen in front of the fire.
I had fireplace doors with a built-in screen but if you drew the screen it
blocked all the heat. Also with all the sparks, its best to be extra careful
when you get wood that pops.
