Temp outside is 43ºF and I WOULD (under normal circumstances) have lit a fire this morning (at 3 A.M.), ............BUT...........instead, the wife and I rushed off to the hospital to observe the birth of our 3rd grandchild (a girl, "Calista Juliette," 6 lbs________Oz, all fingers and toes intact!).

Our daughter gave birth within a half hour of her arrival at the hospital. She gave birth so fast that the Doctors almost didn't make it there in time and "I" would have had to play "catch the baby" if they hadn't!!

Guess the "fire" can wait!!

On our way back to the hospital (again.......lol)............Thanks for all the good vibes, ya'll!

I love her name.
Calista (Cal) is my dear Nana's name, still walking around at 96 years old.
Awesome...

Ratman: When she (Calista) is old enough to carry on a meaningful conversation, I will call to mind your Nana, and remind OUR "Cal" that she bears a name that is dear, and she must do it honor!

Good man...
You must be so excited you feel like you're walking on air.

Congrats Soupy . . . your granddaughter almost has more hair than me . . . of course I do burn pine which could explain why I am losing my hair. ;)
