Easy - you want black smoke - fire up the OWB. Or a little used motor oil would clarify the color.;lol

these are my eco-friendly choses. OR.....

tire chunks for black
clean motor oil for white

not eco-friendly but sure-fire (pun intended) solutions.
 
Can you imagine the confusion if the put something like orange smoke up one time? The talking heads on TV would be stammering all over the place.

Obviously a Pre-EPA stove...bet the United Nations is pissed that they are contributing to global warming;)
