obsolete parts

I'm looking for a part that i've been told is obsolete. its the rear exit insert for a vermont casting defiant 2
wood stove. Part number is 1303192.

Could be tough, maybe watch for a used stove that has other damage? I suppose you also tried http://www.discountstove.com and http://trading-post-ct.com/ ?

Call them on the phone. Many times they have other parts etc. that may not be listed online.

Have you tried all the parts dealers listed on the VC site? Here's a link link to VC parts dealers. Ferguson's Fireplace Shop (listed in the link) shows the exploded diagram of your model and it looks like you're looking for a "rear exit insert." I'd try calling all the the dealers listed as selling VC parts. Good luck.
