Hi ,installing new insert now , everything went fairly smooth until now. The flexible chimney liner is not lining straightwith insert opening. Have 2 options . First one is to get off set box . That the easy way. Second one is to try to remove some of the metal on a top of firebox and may be some bricks. Having my doubts about off set box : my chimney is short , barely 15 feet which is min in specs for the insert . I used flexible smooth wall liner , insulated it but still worry about proper draft . Do you guys think the offset box will affect it greatly , is it worth to try and fit the liner without it ?
