Just thought I'd share our Christmas Card for this year. Its taken in front of our new Lopi Revere Insert. Gabriel on the left is 2.5 and Jacob on the right is 7 months. They just got back from seeing Santa and thought it would be a good time to try and snap a quick picture for the card.

Thanks all for the kind comments. Fortunately for my kids they get their looks from their mom. One of me is enough in this world. :)

Seriously, the kids are one of the reasons I got the stove. I need to be more active and cutting/splitting/stacking wood is one way to do that. I need to be a better example to them in terms of being active, so when they get older they will definitely be helping dad with the stove related chores.

MSG, the kidco was a necessity with these two. Just today I had a ball go through the gate and roll toward the bottom of the stove. Let's just say it was another opportunity to teach them about the stove. :)

    Later all and Merry Christmas!
