A friend bought one to try. Wasn't too pleased. He has much better luck with the big pellets they make just for wood stoves. ;-)
 
Those baskets have been discussed here before.

The general consensus is no good.
 
I know a pellet dealer "Not Me" that would put water damaged bags in his wood stove. He has a large door so he would put the whole bag in at once plastic and all. He says it works good except for the stove getting cherry red and being worried about anything combustible around the stove lol. Didn't sound to good to me.
