I removed the heat shield in the back and the stove says it's an Encore model 2250. I can't find this model having ever existed on the internet. The guy I bought it from said it was about 10 years old, which I am beginning to think wasn't exactly honest. It's got a cat and the ash cleanout, looks like a 2550, but it's not...
please help me identify my Encore!

A google search lead me immediately to a poster here named "RandyBoBandy". It says he owned/owns a 2250 in his signature... Maybe try to DM him.

I think the Model 2250 stamp is an error. That looks just like a 2550 which I own
