Premix thinset- hearth install

Is that premixed thinset safe to use for installing tiles on a hearth? Just wonding if there was any info out there on it? Looks like its petrolum based? Looks easier to use the premixed stuff for such a small area.

Do a search on this topic. It has been discussed before and it is not recomended. On of the previous discussions had a link as to why is was not good to use.
