Hey guys,
Anyone use or have suggestions on a digital probe type thermometer? With the top loading feature on the Jotul Rangeley I figure I could route the wire into the firebox but would not hesitate to drill a hole in the plate steel if necessary.
Thanks,
Jim

I don't know if I'd drill through into the fire box unless your trying to regulate cat temps. Probably be better to take stove top surface temps and an external or internal pipe temp for a non cat stove. Condar has a digital thermocouple cat probe you could also use for internal stack temps or you could go with a Teltru probe.
