    is this an easy switch over in terms of duct work?? need municpal permits of anysort?

    Please post pellet questions to the pellet forum. There should be no ductwork involved with a freestanding pellet stove.

    Those are questions you have to ask your local building code official. And switching duct work is not that compacted if you install a pellet furnace.
