Hello,
Quadrafire classic bay 1200.
Auger motor stops only maybe once a day.
What solves it is unplugging and plugging it back in.
Before I go down any roads with jumping wires…might this be a sign that the motor is on its way out?
Thanks

Maybe, maybe not. There are some other reasons auger could "stop". Bad hopper switch, Loss of vacuum , bad vacuum switch , dirty vacuum hose/switch, dirty venting, weak battery in thermostat, bad igniter, bad low limit switch, bad exhaust blower. What does the burn pot look like when it stops, Pellets or no Pellets, unburnt pellets, burnt pellets, partially burnt pellets? First rule of trouble shooting is clean clean clean. Venting and hopper I see you have cleaned hopper and chute that is a known problem with the 1200.
