how does the automatic damper thing work on the new quadrafires?..it intriged me...went stove looking today and liked what i saw in the pacific energy stoves...buck model 80....blaze king...and the quadrafires....but the quadrafire really got me wondering how this automatic thing works...anybody know?

I don't know specifically about the quadrafire - but they are fine stoves. From what I read, the Blaze King has a great thermostat controlled damper. Clean and long burns.

Good luck,
Bill

yeah trust me im in love with the blaze king princess insert.....im 100% sure this is my last season with the ol wood dragon...if i have the money ..the blaze king will be mine...but we will have to see what i can afford.

The ACC on the Quads supply extra air starting up a fire. Then it closes and you control it from there just like any other non-cat.
